Studio 26 Fall Family Updates!

The team at Studio 26 have been busy inside and out of the studio! Due to the flurry of Fall activity, we've complied a little list of things happening.

Whitney Tucker had an abundant, productive summer, which is coming to fruition with her upcoming performances with David Dorfman Dance at the BAM Harvey Theater in "Come, and Back Again" October 16-19. Get tickets here. The company will continue on after these to MASS MoCA (Massachussetts Musuem of Contemporary Art) to participate in a residency and present performances in North Adams, MA.

Ana Chavez is leaving our little desk team to pursue opportunities in the arts in Ecuador! We'll miss her dearly and wish her well on her next big adventure.

Aya Sato performs this weekend in "Double Take" by choreographer Laurel Atwell. Two performances on Saturday night in Crown Heights, and one on Sunday in McCarren Park. Performances continue through Spring (email for details). She also welcomes everyone to the Crown Heights Film Festival (an organization she has been working with since May) October 21st-26th!

Emma Judkins is in Captiva, Florida with Phantom Limb Company working collaboratively on a multimedia theater performance for the Robert Rauschenberg Foundation Residency Program. She'll also be performing at Joe's Pub for Dance Now NYC, details here.

Resident Ironman Chad Woodward has lots of races lined up for next year, including New Orleans 70.3 in April and the NYC Triathlon in August. Check his blog:

Diana Oh just wrapped a show with terraNOVA Collective, "The Sister Rosettas". Diana's upcoming musical and theatrical performances will all be listed on her website

Shelby Terrel, who has just joined us at the desk, is looking forward to upcoming shows with the company she is dancing for, Loud Hound Movement, including one next weekend at the Dance Gallery Festival at the Ailey Citigroup Theater. For details please visit
